A Day Out, A Night in the Woods

How Sarah Williamson puts AFERIY to work, outdoors and beyond.

For Sarah, a day does not always happen in one place. One moment she is working with her tools, and the next she is heading into the woods to work on her shelter and spend the night outdoors. When AFERIY came along, she wanted to put it to work.

A Day Out

Sarah started with equipment she already uses: an 800W AFERIY power station running a 500W grinder. It handled the grinder without a problem. She also used it with equipment at work. Its straightforward setup gave her the connections she needed: as she put it, it works and does what she needs.

More Than Outdoor Power

AFERIY also found its way into the veterinary practice where Sarah works. In the operating theater, she connected it to a multiparameter monitor. At a 16W load, the display indicated around 10 hours of runtime, giving her confidence that the equipment could still run during an outage.

A Night in the Woods

Back in the woods, Sarah built a small shelter, set up her hammock and stove, and kept the power station nearby. As the weather turned wet and rain tapped on the roof, she carried on and settled in for the night. The AFERIY simply did its job while Sarah enjoyed the evening outdoors.

The Next Morning

After a full night outdoors, Sarah packed up to head home. Her verdict was simple: it did exactly what she wanted it to do. The AFERIY lasted through the night and still had around 30% battery remaining.

She needed something she could take with her, put to work and rely on wherever the day took her.
