AFERIY supported a Race Against Dementia community weekend and donated a P040 portable power station for the fundraiser.
ExploreA car slowly pulled into the schoolyard of a school in Ukraine. Teachers came out to greet the team as the children gathered around. An AFERIY Nomad1800 was connected to the sound system, and familiar music filled the schoolyard again. The quiet playground came alive as the children clapped, cheered and danced.
Nearby, students charged laptops, tablets and phones. This joyful moment grew from a simple idea: bring reliable power to schools that need it.
Vladyslav Lotovskyi is a Ukrainian technology content creator and founder of the Lotos Energy YouTube channel. For years, he has reviewed portable power stations, solar equipment and other energy products, sharing real-world experience with outdoor power and clean energy technologies.
During a conversation with the AFERIY European team, he explained that some schools in Ukraine faced unstable power supplies. Outages interrupted lighting, internet access and the use of computers, tablets and other teaching equipment. Together they launched the Energy for Education initiative.

Vladyslav contacted local education authorities, and schools submitted applications based on their needs. The team visited schools one by one to understand their situations.
Eight schools received 10 AFERIY portable power stations. The nonprofit organization My Family coordinated the project and logistics. The stations now support classroom lighting, routers, laptops, tablets and other teaching equipment, and can be moved quietly wherever they are needed.
Thank you very much to everyone who supported this project. With the AFERIY portable power station, we can continue learning with peace of mind even when the power goes out.

This support came at exactly the right time. Reliable backup power helps keep our lighting, communications and teaching equipment running, allowing us to carry out our lessons with greater peace of mind.

No grand words are needed. The fact that classes can continue as normal each day is the most meaningful result of this support.
For many people, a portable power station means a camping trip, an RV adventure, an outdoor creative project or emergency backup power for the home. Here, however, it takes on another responsibility.
It means a music class does not fall silent because of an outage. It means computers and projectors can keep running, and children can continue learning with peace of mind.
These 10 stations cannot solve every problem, but they have created real and lasting change in eight schools. AFERIY believes reliable energy is about more than keeping devices running. It is about keeping classrooms open, learning going and human connection alive.
